About Gold Medal Foresters

Get to know Gold Medal Foresters. We're based in Tipperary, Ireland, and dedicated to helping landowners get the most from their land. Discover our passion for forestry and our commitment to your vision.

Beyond the ordinary

We’re not a big company—we’re independent foresters with boots on the ground and a passion for Irish forestry. Gold Medal Foresters is a husband-and-wife team, both recognised for excellence in our field and deeply rooted in hands-on experience—from planting and chainsaw work to timber measurement and replanting.

Drue brings a wealth of hands-on forestry experience and is currently studying for an MSc in Forestry to deepen his expertise as a consultant. Over the years, he’s developed strong skills in harvest management, forest valuation, and forest road planning and design. His practical background gives him a grounded perspective—and the ability to turn forestry visions into real-world results.

Rebecca has extensive experience with forestry grant applications and legislation, and is currently pursuing an MSc in GIS to deepen her skills in forest mapping and assessment, forest resource planning, and biodiversity management. She also serves as a County Representative on the IFA National Forestry Committee, where she advocates for practical, land-based solutions for farmers and landowners across Ireland.

Both are here to help you realise your vision for your land—through sustainable, tailored forestry that works for you.
